Anotation:

The aim of this project is thermodynamic modelling of metamorphic processes in the collisional orogenic zones. The P-T-X conditions will be constrained using several methods: pseudosections, conventional geothermobarometry, fluid inclusion microthermometry and geochronology. These will be applied for high and ultrahigh-pressure rocks (eclogites, peridotites) and their host rocks (paragneisses, orthogneisses, migmatites, granitoids) from several collisional orogens (Western Carpathians, Eastern Alps, Scandinavian Caledonides, Rhodopes).
